Abstract
⺠We isolated a fungus Armillaria sp. F022 from a tropical rain forest. ⺠Five co-substrates were affecting the degradation of benzo[a]pyrene. ⺠Laccase played a key role in the BaP biodegradation. ⺠We examined the fate and co-metabolic degradation of benzo[a]pyrene. ⺠Benzo[a]pyrene-1,6-quinone is the main metabolites by Armillaria sp. F022.
