Abstract
⺠A fiber form of bacterial biosorbent modified with polyethylenimine was developed. ⺠The maximum uptake of Au(I) by the developed biosorbent fibers was 421.1 mg/g at pH 5.5. ⺠By incinerating the Au-loaded biosorbent fibers, the perforated gold tube with 60 μm of diameter was obtained.
