Abstract
► Typha latifolia stalks mill were converted to liquid products by using organic solvents and catalysts. ► Acetone and 2-butanol as solvents and sodium hydroxide as catalyst provide the optimum conditions. ► The liquid products were extracted by liquid-liquid extraction with benzene and diethyl ether. ► Twenty nine different compounds have been identified by GC-MS in the liquid product obtained by ethanol at 558 K.
