Abstract
⺠Pyrolysis of a fresh water algae species, Chlorococcum humicola was performed at various heating rates. ⺠A new algorithm to predict the kinetics of devolatilization was developed. ⺠Kinetic parameters are evaluated for the microalga. ⺠Estimated kinetic parameters were used to predict the pyrolysis behavior of the alga at another heating rate and validated.
