Abstract
⺠We developed a process and cost model for ethanol production from raw juice. ⺠Sensitivity study showed that the system is economically viable. ⺠The optimal percentage of recycled biomass is in the range from 50% to 70%. ⺠The model may be used as a useful tool for process development and assessment.
