Abstract
⺠An ethanologenic yeast able to utilize cellobiose as sole carbon source. ⺠Produces sufficient β-glucosidase activity for cellulosic ethanol production by SSF. ⺠Tolerant to biomass pre-treatment inhibitors such as furfural and HMF. ⺠Facilitates economic consolidated SSF bio-processing.
