Abstract
⺠We use microalgae as bioregenerative tool for O2 regulation and control in Bioregenerative Life Support System (BLSS). ⺠Developing a valid mathematical model for describing and capturing O2 dynamic characteristics in photo bioreactor (PBR). ⺠Closed-loop PBR with LQG servo controller is designed and optimized by digital simulation. ⺠Real-time simulation is conducted for validation, verification and accreditation. ⺠Closed-loop PBR could enhance the safety and reliability of BLSS on space and ground mission.
