Abstract
⺠Applying expanded bed adsorption system to produce propionic acid and vitamin B12. ⺠ZGA330 resin was determined as the best resin by adsorption experiments. ⺠Biocompatibility was not problematic for EBA-based process. ⺠Inhibition of propionic acid on cell growth and vitamin B12 synthesis was reduced.
