Abstract
⺠Liquid-liquid flow in an impeller-stator spinning disc reactor is described. ⺠Six different flow regimes were observed between the impeller and the bottom stator. ⺠Regime transitions depend on shear stress intensity, and aqueous volume fractions. ⺠Mixing and separation is achieved in one compact reactor. ⺠This is an important step toward a countercurrent operated spinning disc reactor.
