Abstract
The Ce0.6-Cu60/Al40-[O] catalyst, prepared by sol evaporation induced self-assembly (SEISA) method, showed an excellent simultaneous removal efficiency of H2S and PH3. According to the characterization results, the ceria loading could markedly enhance catalytic activity of Cu60/Al40-[O] due to increase in the specific surface area of catalysts by adjusting the grain of CuO. Finally, H2S could react with CuO to form CuS and H2O, and that PH3 and O2 could generate P2O5 on the carrier. Then, P2O5 would be further converted into PO3â due to the presence of H2O. Finally, CeO2 accelerated the reaction of PO3â to PO43â.140
