Abstract
For improvement of anti-hydrolysis performance, we evaluated humidity resistance of cured coating films of acrylic polyols with pendant poly(lactic acid)s. The cured films containing 50Â wt% poly(lactic acid)s showed similar humidity resistance compared with coating films prepared by the use of only acrylic polyols. However, poly(lactic acid) polyols, which are constructed from the lactic acid unit main chain, showed hydrolytic degradation in a humidity resistance test.
