Ultrasonic assisted organo-modification of mesoporous SBA-15 with N-trimellitylimido-l-methionine and preparation of the poly(amide-imide)/SBA nanocomposites

- SBA-15 was functionalized with N-trimellitylimido-l-methionine by sonication.
- Chiral poly(amide-imide) with good thermal stability was obtained in green medium.
- Simple solution blending process was used for synthesis of PAI/SBA nanocomposites.
- TEM images show well-ordered hexagonal arrays of mesopores SBA in hybrid materials.
- TGA results showed an improvement in the thermal properties of the nanocomposites.
