Abstract
The present study proposes a scheme which overcomes the odd number property of amplitude death in ring networks with a dynamic connection. We show that the conventional dynamic connection never induces amplitude death if the odd number property is satisfied. The linear stability analysis reveals that an unstable dynamic connection can overcome the odd number property. The analytical results are confirmed by some numerical simulations.
