Abstract
Triphasic voltage source inverters (VSI) are currently used in many industrial applications including manufacturing area; they are also implemented in commercial end- user products so full control is expected. This work mainly deals with integrating both most commonly used approaches; namely, SPWM (sinusoidal PWM) and SVPWM (Space-Vector PWM) so a generalized technique which overcome known drawbacks of preceding methodologies is generated. DC bus usage, harmonic distortion, over-modulation, and dead time consideration are addressed and simulated results are shown.
