A novel method for measuring and analyzing the interaction between drill bit and rock

This paper uses the fact that the shape of the bottom hole is symmetric and corresponds to the crown shape to determine the optimal design of a PDC bit crown profile by inverse design. This paper will help to expend the ideas of bit design and promote the development of research on rock breaking theory.
