Abstract

A modified principle of unitary systems construction for continuous-time linear strictly proper MIMO systems is presented in the paper. The problem addressed is reformulated as design of an equivalent system fault transfer function matrix, implying the asymptotic properties of desired unitary fault system. Presented in the sense of the second Lyapunov method, an associated structure of linear matrix inequalities with built-in the prescribed constraint is outlined to possess the emplacement of singular values of the unitary system. The proposed design conditions are verified by the numerical illustrative example.
