Abstract
The problem of optimal traffic coordination in rectangular street networks is presented in the paper. The problem description was simplified as much as possible, by defining minimal set of decision variables and deriving necessary constraints on their values. The properties of optimal solution for quadratic goal function were established and the optimal solution has been derived analytically for mutual vehicle group positions. The optimal undisturbed coordination is compared with node capacity constrains in fuzzy form to find a degree of fulfilment of capacity constrains in street network.
