Abstract
Based on a novel disordered fluoride crystal-Nd3+ and Gd3+ co-doped CaF2, we demonstrate a dual-wavelength synchronously mode locked laser in a single cavity, for the first time. Two gain lines at 1064.2â¯nm and 1064.7â¯nm were synchronously mode locked by gain spectrum splitting method, corresponding to a 0.15â¯THz repetition rate. The mode locked laser shows a 6.5â¯ps separated pulse duration.
