Abstract

In the paper the sensorless induction motor drive system with extended MRAS type speed and flux estimator is described. The Direct Field Oriented Control Structure has been equipped with the rotor speed and flux estimator connected with the rotor resistance and magnetizing reactance estimators. The magnetizing reactance estimator is based on well known mathematical interpolation of the inverse magnetizing curve. The rotor resistance identification is based on the adaptive control theory. Otherwise Dynamical performances of the vector control system with the current-type MRAS estimator with additional parameters estimators are tested in simulation and in the laboratory set-up. Control structure is checked in the low speed and in the field weakening regions.
