Abstract
⺠All the Eu3+-activated NaSrBO3 phosphors can be effectively excited by near UV light and also exhibit good red CIE chromaticity coordinates. ⺠The alkali metal ions introduced as charge compensators can enhance the red emission intensity of the Eu3+ doped NaSrBO3. ⺠The NaSrBO3:Eu3+ phosphors added with alkali metal ions show higher emission intensity than that of commercial red phosphor Y2O2S:Eu3+.
