Abstract
In this paper, we studied the sensitivity of the projection moiré system considering its variety not only in the X and Y directions but also along the Z direction in space. A more accurate nonlinear system model is proposed to precisely describe the phase-to-height conversion relationship for an arbitrarily arranged projection moiré system. Based on the nonlinear system model, a general calibration method is proposed to determine the three full-field sensitivity matrices. The correctness, effectiveness, and superiority of the proposed model are proven by both the calibration experiment and experiments with real objects.
