Abstract
After a short introduction about the relations of SWIIS to End of life (EoL) and the history of mobile phones the example Kosovo is discussed. Data on repair from 5 different points in 3 different cities in Kosovo were collected and evaluated. According to the statistics, from more than 10.000 phones, on defects a “guideline” for users is given. Finally suggestions for further steps were made with the main result – semi automated disassembly makes currently no sense.
