Abstract
We suggest a method to reduce the random phase fluctuations that occur during deformation measurements using an optical coherence tomography (OCT) system with a swept source. In this work, we show that spurious phase terms can be reduced using the volumetric recording of OCT fringe patterns and the application of digital image processing techniques to their phase. Experimental results of deformations are presented and limitations of the proposal are analyzed using simulated data.
