Abstract
⺠Propagation function is defined to explicitly relate adjacent deformation parameters. ⺠Closed-form expression is derived for first-order and second-order shape function. ⺠Local deformation and strain are taken into account. ⺠More accurate initialization is provided for DIC than existing methods. ⺠Fewer iterations are required for iterative algorithm to converge in optimization.
