Abstract
⺠We studied drop-out noise affecting laser vibrometry measurements on optically non-cooperative surfaces. ⺠This is relevant for enameled surfaces, if they cannot be optically treated, as in case of on-line quality control. ⺠We studied the case of home appliances. ⺠The effect of optical signal quality on uncertainty of diagnostic features is shown by experiments. ⺠Statistical analysis of feature uncertainty propagation to the diagnosis is presented.
