Abstract
- Temperature sensing at cryogenic and ambient temperatures has been performed.
- Complex can be used for UV light (UV-A and UV-B) detection. We have determined the UV sensitivity for different wavelengths of UV radiation.
- Our work reveals that the UV sensor can detect UV light intensities as low as 96Â nW/cm2.
- By increasing the optical stimulus, amplification in spontaneous emission and the decrease of the full width at half maximum take place, pointing to stimulated emission.
- The stimulated emission cross-section is found to be comparable with the literature values for different lanthanide complexes.
