Abstract
⺠For the first time, compared the modeling and experimental results of shear mode piezoelectric vibration sensor using (YXt) â30° cut piezoelectric single crystal of yttrium calcium oxyborate YCa4O(BO3)3 (YCOB). ⺠The prototyped accelerometer showed significantly higher working temperature than that of commercial piezoelectric accelerometers. ⺠This high temperature piezoelectric accelerometer without thin film electrodes showed unprecedented high sensitivity and stable performance at temperature of 1000 °C.
