Abstract
This paper presents the whole design process of a binary maximum detector on 4 bits. The circuit is designed from scratch with usual digital integrated circuits. First is presented the simulation in Circuit Maker and after the actual circuit and layout made in Mentor PADS. Finally to make it closer to the final product, the PCB was exported from Mentor PADS and imported in Protel to see the 3D view of the circuit.
