Abstract
The population prognosis predicts a growing share of senior citizens in the demographic distribution of population in the Czech Republic. When designing intelligent buildings, it is necessary to map the citizens' needs in detail and find a suitable solution that responds to the detected needs of the occupants. The article describes approaches to the technical solution of a comfortable remote control of technical functions in an intelligent building with implemented wireless technology, respecting the technical, sociological and user needs of the senior, sick or disabled citizens.
