Abstract

The main scope of this contribution is to discuss and to analyse the application of time Petri nets for modelling and control of time-critical systems. The time-critical aspect is with respect to the dependence of system behaviour to the actions that are performed, but also on their performing time instants and their performing durations, chosen within an interval. This is the case of electroplating process where chemical treatment operations must be performed based on a reliable respect of several time constraints on chemical tank treatment times and on hoist transfer time.
