Abstract
The use of Intelligent Transportation Systems in Logistic-Distribution management is a tendency. Software companies are opening their GPS computational systems that facilitate integration with other desktop and GSM based mobile software that compose an integrated decision support system to achieve impressive results in efficiency and economies of scales, also in revenues to wholesale companies. We report here a DSS architecture that is used and evaluated to manage a fleet of vehicles and drivers bringing great success to the company in delivering goods, adjusting its information and processes with minor impact.
