Abstract
The integration of an observer in a closed loop control scheme for continuous timed Petri nets (ContPN) is presented in this paper. The selected observer to be implemented in this work is a Luenberger observer, where the convergence time can be designed by choosing the appropriate gains. The controller uses an on-off state feedback strategy to regulate the ContPN in the required state. The idea of the proposed strategy is to turn on the observer and, once the observer error converges to a certain value close to zero, then the controller is turned on, and from this moment, the control under state estimation will be applied.
