Abstract
A novel field weakening control strategy with variable reference voltage for asynchronous motors is proposed in this paper. It keeps the voltage-to-frequency ratio unchanged by adjusting the reference voltage of voltage closed-loop so that the motor flux will stay constant when output torque changed. It has better torque dynamic response and reference field current dynamic response when the motor is running in the field-weakening area. The algorithm introduced in this paper is realized and confirmed in simulation.
