Abstract
A novel adaptive fuzzy decentralized control approach is proposed for a class of output-feedback large-scale nonlinear systems with unknown time-varying time-delays and interconnections. Fuzzy logic systems (FLSs) are employed to approximate the unknown delayed nonlinearities and the unknown delay signals are replaced by reference signals. Both the observer and the controller are independent of the unknown time delay. It is proved that the proposed design approach is able to guarantee semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness (SGUUB) of all signals in the closed-loop system, with arbitrary small error by appropriately choosing design constants.
