Abstract
This paper proposes a general remote state preparation (RSP) scheme for a multi-qubit system using only one multi-qubit channel. The recursive scheme works essentially by decomposing the RSP task into two stages: amplitude modulation and phase modulation. It is shown that the scheme is completely implementable for preparing any multi-qubit state for the remote receiver via only one multi-qubit channel. With limited channel resource, the proposed protocol shows that it is possible to make the passive receiver obtain the final target state with the aid of the active sender. Moreover, the remote receiver does not need to use high-dimensional unitary operation, which lessens the burden of quantum information processing for the receiver.
