Abstract
It has been proposed that model components are developed on HLMD (High Level Model Description) and exported to acausal modeling tools based on DAE (Differential Algebraic Equations) such as Modelica and VHDL AMS. HLMD enhances the modeling environment through rapidly modeling components with the considered conservation laws and the constraints. This paper describes a pure physical model of turbocharger on HLMD in which the mass, the energy, the momentum, and the angular momentum are considered. The model is the basis to develop a sufficient accurate gray-box model which is the combination of physical and experimental models.
