Abstract
In this work, a Modelica representation of an e4WD vehicle is derived and evaluated for a range of different aspects; including launch performance, lateral stability, thermal management, and driver-in-the-loop performance. The paper explains how the modeling approach supports adaption of subsystem fidelity and system focus to fit the different aspects, and different engineering domains.
