Abstract
In this work, we study a (2 + 1)-dimensional and a (3 + 1)-dimensional B-type Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (BKP) equations. The simplified form of the Hirota method is used to establish multiple soliton solutions for each equation. The coefficients of the spatial variables remain free and not subject to any constraint condition. We also determine soliton solutions, rational solutions and periodic solutions.
