Abstract
► It is the first endeavor to apply IBM for thermal flow problems with accurate satisfaction of boundary conditions. ► It presents two simple and efficient ways to calculate the average Nusselt number. ► Both ways do not need to approximate temperature gradients at boundary points. ► Numerical experiments showed that present solver can provide very accurate results.
