Abstract
In this work the problem of attitude estimation of a motorcycle is studied. A Kalman Filter approach is used and the performance of the Extended Kalman Filter and the Unscented Kalman filter are compared. The estimation accuracy and robustness have been tested both with simulated and experimental data to show which are the advantages of the Unscented Transformation.
