Abstract
In the future, EV's coincident charging possibly impacts on voltage profiles of distribution networks. This paper proposes a smart charging method for electric vehicle fast-charging. The proposed method based on linear programming determines how many electric vehicles can be fast-charged with fast-charging stations on distribution networks without voltage quality deterioration. The feature of the proposed method is that the uncertainty of PV outputs is formulated as the deterministic inequality constraints. And the proposed method can easily estimate the reactive power required for the increase of the maximum number of available EV fast-chargers using duality of LP.
