Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present the model and control of an electrical drive system composed of two induction motors fed by a single voltage source inverter. An independent control of six-phase and three-phase induction motors is obtained with stator windings series connection scheme. The model obtained is introduced into the IFOC algorithm and tested by simulation and validated experimentally, using a low cost evaluation kit based on eZDSP-TMS320F2812. The results are conclusive and the study constitutes a very interesting basis and allows the development and validation of other control techniques of multi-motor drive systems.
