Plant diseases have caused major production and economic losses in the agriculture and forestry industry, and monitoring of health and detection of diseases in plants and trees is critical for sustaining agriculture. The spectroscopic and imaging techniques are unique disease monitoring methods that have been used to detect diseases in plants. Spectral analysis is simple and non-destructive method. It can be applied to the detecting of the Botrytis cinerea infection and symptom degree using an original graph, derivative function graph and absorbance data. In this study, inoculated paprika gray mold symptoms were observed, the symptoms of the degree of progress was analyzed by spectroscopy and the obtained original data was analyzed mathematical method.
