Abstract
The male moth perceives sex pheromone of the female moth with its antenna, causing the generation of living body electrical potential within the antenna. The electro-antennogram (EAG) is one of the methods to analyze this pheromone. This paper discussed the ability of sensing sex pheromone using Mamestra brassicae. The maximum antenna Life time was 200 min against sex pheromone. The antenna reacted to sex pheromone of other kind of moths. The EAG response increased according to the sex pheromone concentration at nx10-5~nx10-2.
