A new approach to developing solutions and tools for the automation of general use is presented in this paper using as a basis a device formatted with ARM 11 processor encapsulated in a motherboard of low cost. A comparison with conventional solutions for control and data acquisition, microcontrollers based on this processor offers greater possibility of features and flexibility, with an overall design for reliability, durability and ease of installation. Thus this paper aims to present a new approach that consists in dividing into modules the ARM microcontroller functionality, leaving application level to end user. So, this proposal allow facilitate the building of a system for automation, supervision and control. The modules are independent Android applications, each one with specific functions.
