Abstract
The realization of cyber-physical systems (CPS) as networked automation devices proclaims a new level of flexibility, interoperability, and adaptability within automation systems. This paper presents an integrated concept for developing automation applications in a distributed way. Therefore, two existing Model-Driven Engineering approaches are combined; one deals with the design of automation applications according to the SOA paradigm and the other one with the automatic code generation for embedded real-time systems. An integration concept is proposed for a seamless linking of the two approaches and first results are presented by means of a case study.
