Abstract
The paper considers robustness aspects of adaptive control in application to sampled-data systems with pole-placement controller subject to plant-model mismatch, in the sense of mistuning of model parameters to appropriate ones. Firstly, the adaptive sampled-data controller is introduced and commented how its behaviour can be approximated by the behaviour of a fully discrete-time system. Secondly, the regions of robust performance are shown on parameter surface, i.e. visualisation of parameters span for which there is no severe performance degradation in comparison to the best plant-model matching, as a function of sampling interval.
