Abstract
We propose a statical limit analysis approach for ductile porous materials, based on a general three dimensional (3D) trial stress field. This approach delivers a new macroscopic criterion which explicitly accounts for stress Lode angle effects. After illustrating the yield surfaces, we provide the macroscopic plastic flow rule and void growth equations. Based on the above results, a full 3D constitutive damage law is formulated and numerically implemented with an isotropic hardening law. This allows to predict the macroscopic response of the voided material under arbitrary loadings. Finally, the influence of the stress Lode angle as well as that of the stress triaxiality are fully illustrated.
