Abstract
Fluid leakage is a major economic and environmental challenge in several areas, this issue explains the growing interest by the scientific and industrial communities for the development of a reliable algorithms of leak diagnosis. This paper deals with reliability analysis of a leak detection system developed by OSYRIS R&D company(high-tech company specialized in the field of the laser). The developed algorithm is based on signal processing theory, it uses the properties of the cross-correlation function in order to distinguish the fluid leak from a various disturbances. Experimental results obtained in real time show the advantages and limits of the proposed approach.
