Abstract
Greenhouse climate control is a complex task that can be dealt using several control strategies to achieve energy efficiencies. The climatic control problem in greenhouses is characterized by frequent actuator saturation, due to energy source and structure layout characteristics. A model predictive combined with a feedforward compensator is used in this paper to face both disturbance and actuators saturation. Simulation and real tests are shown presenting promising results.
